Ingredients

  • Egg
  • 12 pcs 12 Egg

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 Salt

  • 1/2 tbsp 1/2 Vinegar

  • 6 cups 6 Water (for boiling)

  • Ice (for ice bath)

  • Marinade
  • 4 tbsp 4 Spring Onion (finely chopped)

  • 5 cloves 5 Garlic (minced)

  • 6 pcs 6 Chili (Siling Labuyo)

  • 1 tbsp 1 Black Sesame Seeds

  • 1 tbsp 1 White Sesame Seeds

  • 1 1/2 cups 1 1/2 Light Soy Sauce

  • 1 cup 1 Water

  • 1 cup 1 Corn Syrup

Directions

  • Put enough water to cover all the eggs in a pot and add salt and vinegar. Turn up the heat to medium-high. Once the water is boiling, put the eggs in carefully and let them cook for 6 minutes.
  • Take the egg out and put it in a bowl of ice water for at least 10 minutes. Carefully peel the eggs and set them aside.
  • Put the marinade ingredients in a bowl or other container and stir until everything is mixed together.
  • Add the peeled eggs and make sure the marinade gets all over the eggs.
  • Keep in the fridge for at least two hours or overnight before serving.
  • Serve it with a bowl of hot rice and enjoy!
